Enoteca Pinchiorri: 44 years of Tuscan hospitality in Florence

From wine shop to Michelin-starred restaurant in Florence

In earlier times, the Enoteca's wine cellar was open to the public and you could even dine there. However, it is no longer in its original state, as it was struck by a Molotov cocktail in 1992 that caused approximately two million euros in damage. Since then, it has been closed to the public by order of the insurance company.

Giorgio's love for wine has not diminished. He is still looking for the most special bottles, which he carefully stores in specially custom-made wooden crates in his wine cellar. Giorgio (73) and Annie (72) have now been in the business for 44 years and their restaurant has become a legend. For them, this is no longer work, but a motto for life. If Florence is on your must-see list during your holiday or city trip, then a reservation at Pinchiorri is highly recommended.
