Many of our accommodations are suitable for families. Think of a fenced pool, a lawn to play on, or even playground equipment in the garden. You can see on the accommodation page whether the house is child-friendly. Do you have young children or specific requests? Let us know, and we will be happy to advise you personally.

Yes, Wi-Fi is available in most holiday homes. Do keep in mind, however, that in the middle of the Italian countryside, your internet might sometimes be slightly less stable than at home. But let's be honest... going offline a bit is just part of a holiday sometimes, right?

Many accommodations have air conditioning or heating, depending on the season. This is always clearly stated in the facilities. Do you have a preference, or are you traveling during a period of extreme temperatures? Let us know, and we will help you find a comfortable place.

At some accommodations, you can arrange extras such as a local breakfast, a cooking class, a wine tasting, or even a private chef. These services are often discussed and paid for on-site. That varies by accommodation. In Italy, wearing a swimming cap is indeed mandatory at some pools, usually to keep the water clean and clear. Other locations are a bit more flexible about this and leave it up to the guests.

You can usually find out if the swimming pool has specific rules on the accommodation page. Unsure? Feel free to ask us. And just to be safe: a swimming cap takes up little space and might just come in handy. Even if it's just to be well-prepared for your trip in true Italian style.

In theory yes, but in practice we do not recommend it. Italy is a beautiful but vast country. Our accommodations are often located precisely in those quiet, green spots where you can hear the crickets and count the stars at night, and these are usually not around the corner from a train station.

Public transport often takes you to a nearby town or village, but after that, things get tricky. Buses run infrequently, taxis are scarce, and walking with suitcases along country lanes is… well, an adventure in itself.

Do you really want to discover the surroundings, visit a local market, go to that one secluded beach, or a winemaker in the hills? Then your own (rental) car is truly indispensable. This way, you travel at your own pace and get the most out of your holiday.
