City trip to Pisa

The gastronomic agriturismo Tonnaia is nestled in the green hills behind the Tuscan coast. The medieval village of Lari, with its famous castle and historic center, is within walking distance. Pisa is 35 km away and can be reached by car in half an hour. You can also take a taxi to the train station in Pontedera – Casciana Terme and take the train from there to Pisa. The journey takes approximately 40 minutes.

City trip Florence

Borgo delle Fonti is a charming 16th-century Italian Borgo with 15 apartments, situated in the hills directly behind the center of Florence. The cultural city center can be reached by bus within half an hour. The borgo features a swimming pool, playground, plenty of space, and an incredible view. Stay in a rural apartment during a city trip to Florence—the perfect alternative to a central hotel! The estate, totaling 35 hectares with olive groves, vineyards, and cypress trees, completes the Tuscan picture. Olive oil is available fresh from the press and can be taken home as a souvenir. The swimming pool is surrounded by a large garden, and there is a lovely sun terrace. Bicycles are also available to explore the surroundings (for those who enjoy a challenge, as be prepared for ascents and descents). From Grassina (within walking distance, 1 km downhill, so uphill on the way back!), a bus departs approximately every 15 minutes to the center of Florence, and from Florence, you can take the train anywhere.
