Residence Baja Sardinia
The residence has 34 modern, nicely furnished and bright holiday apartments and it is located on the north-east coast of Sardinia, 1 km away from the beach of Cala dei Ginepri. The lively town of Baja Sardinia is only 5 km away. From the terraces you will have a beautiful view of the Archipelago della Maddalena and, when the weather is clear enough, even Corsica!
The holiday homes are located in 3 different buildings and on different levels, which means some apartments will also have a view of the sea. There is a lift that connects the main building with the reception to the parking area and the swimming pool.
The holiday homes are surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and green wooded hills. The apartments with a view on the sea are available for an additional cost.
There is a panoramic swimming pool and a sun terrace, for the kids there is also a small playground with a swing and a playhouse. The cars can be parked in a spacious parking lot, where there are also bicycles available for use. The Wi-Fi is also available but limited to pool and reception use and with limits.
The reception is open at specific times of the day. There are different types of apartments available, namely studios, apartments with 1, 2 or 3 bedrooms. All the holiday apartments have air conditioning.
Evening entertainment, restaurant and bar are not available at the residence, but you can reach Baja Sardinia in 10 minutes by car. Having a care is therefore strongly recommended. At the residence there are some snack machines to buy snacks and drinks.
N.B: Due to its location and construction there are level differences and stairs at the residence, making it less suitable for people with mobility issues.

This accommodation was newly built in 2012, the apartments are modern and sleek. The interior; light and modern, differs per apartment. Some of the 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments are also available with sea view (front or side), for an additional fee (upon request), to be paid locally. You can indicate your preference for sea view when booking.
The service costs for gas, water, electricity, air conditioning and linen are exclusive and not included in the rent. You have to pay this on the spot at check-out. The costs are stated under additional costs.

While you can enjoy a quiet stay at your holiday home in the Baja Sardinia Residence, it is also easy to reach the town of Baja Sardinia to enjoy the liveliness of this tourist hotspot. Baja Sardinia is a pleasant tourist resort, located on the beautiful bay of Arzachena’s Gulf. The town’s beach, Cala Battistoni has a wonderful view of the island of Caprera.
In Baja Sardinia there are plenty of restaurants, bars and an interesting nightlife. One of the best night clubs in Sardinia is in Baja Sardinia: the Ritual Club, located in a cave. Baja Sardinia also offers shops, supermarket, a pharmachy, a post office etc...
Cala dei Ginepri’s beach, is about 1 km away from the residence. In fact, there are 4 small beaches connected to each other and surrounded by pine forests, where you can enjoy a pleasant shade. The beaches of Cala dei Ginepri have a coarse-grained sand and crystal-clear waters. Umbrellas an sun loungers are available for rent, and there is a parking lot nearby, where you can leave your car for a fee.
Of course there are more beaches in the area, that’s the reason why this part of Sardinia, the Costa Smeralda, became famous for! Famous beaches like Spiaggia del Principe, Liscia Ruja, Cala di Volpe (or Romazzino) are all reachable within half an hour by car. A must-see, besides the beaches, is Porto Cervo, an hotspot for the exclusive holidays of the international jet set. Here you can go to the marina to admire the most expensive yachts, or to visit the church of Stella Maris.
The fame of this part of Sardinia is well deserved, there are countless opportunities to experience the island and maybe to take some insta-worthy pictures! You can take boat trips to the Maddalena archipelago – highly recommended -, rent a boat, dive or snorkel, go deep-sea fishing , play tennis in one of the near courts (3 in Baja Sardinia and 2 in Poltu Quatu).
In Poltu Quatu (11 min.) there is also an aqua centre where you can book a whale watching tour or diving and snorkelling tours. Here it is often possible to see dolphins, sea turtles and whales in their natural environment!
And for a fun time, or for racing enthusiasts, there is a beautiful go-kart track in Baja Sardinia, called Pista Dei Campioni.
