Borgo Troni Residence
Borgo Troni is an atmospheric small village consisting of several modern apartments and holiday homes built in the characteristic Sardinian style. The holiday village is surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, with a beautiful view of the hills and the sea near Budoni. The holiday homes are 10 minutes away from Porto Ottiolu and 15 minutes away from the seaside town of San Teodoro.
This residence consists of 35 holiday apartments, which can have 1 or 2 bedrooms. Each holiday apartment has air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a kitchen with refrigerator, satellite TV, sofa bed, bathroom with shower, double bed and / or single bed. The apartments are furnished in Sardinian style, finished with stone and granite and all have a patio with garden or a balcony with panoramic views and outdoor seating, depending on the location. You can enjoy breakfast, lunch, or dinner in the restaurant/pizzeria in the park. There is also a bar where you can order refreshments or an aperitif and a snack. The panoramic swimming pool is in the heart of this family holiday park.
Borgo Troni has a perfect location for your beach holidays in Sardinia; surrounded by nature, near the sea and in a central location to explore the rest of Sardinia. The town of Maiorca is quiet and relaxing, but about 4 kilometres away there is the lively Budoni with beautiful bays and beaches, and various restaurants, bars, and shops. San Teodoro also has beautiful beaches and is also a pleasant seaside resort in the evening. During the summer season there is a daily night market and there is plenty of choice in bars, restaurants, and nightlife.

Budoni is a true gem on the north-eastern coast of Sardinia, located between small bays, impressive cliffs and long beaches of fine white sand and crystal-clear waters. There are also several lagoons that are the home of the pink flamingos. The area has also interesting archaeological sites: the Nuraghe of Entosu and the Domus de Jana. Another interesting sight in Budoni’s area is the village of San Pietro, a long path between typical old Sardinian houses will take you there, so you will get to know the prototype of an old Sardinian village. The church origins’ date back to the fourteen century.
Spiaggia di Budoni
Budoni’s white sandy beach stretches for 4 km between Punta Li Cucutti and Punta Porto Ainu. There are small dunes and pine forests around, where is possible to observe different species of birds. The crystal-clear sea is shallow, perfectly suitable for young children.
Sport activities
Budoni is a popular destination for outdoor sport activities that you can try during your holidays: sailing, diving, snorkelling, horse riding, but also tennis and football.
Entertainment
The night life in Budoni is sophisticated and interesting, in any season of the year! There are plenty of nightclubs and bars that provide plenty of entertainment. Moreover, you can taste the real Sardinian cuisine in one of the many typical restaurants, trattorias and agriturismos that serve traditional regional dishes, such as delicious fish specialties.
Porto Ottiolu
The port of Ottiolu is another interesting place to see in the area. It has more than 400 docking sites and there are all kind of amenities. The port is also the starting point for a short cruise to discover the coves of the coast.
Of course, you can explore other parts of Olbia Tempio from this location, and of course the famous Costa Smeralda is worth a visit!

We spent a beautiful week at Li Troni, Budoni, Sardinia. The weather cooperated and we were able to enjoy nature, nearby villages and beaches.
